Hopwood Hall College and University Centre

Welcome to our Virtual Drop-in for Adult and Part-time Courses.

While we realise that the world might seem rather uncertain right now, this event could be the start of a very exciting new journey for you. It's your opportunity to make plans for your future and kick-start a new chapter in your life.

We'd like to encourage you to begin by watching the welcome message from our Deputy Principal (below). This message is for all - whether you're looking to embark on part-time study, complete a short online course or even join our University Centre.

Our virtual campus tours are also a must! We're incredibly proud of our two unique sites and their outstanding facilities - so be sure to check these out to get a sense of what you can look forward to once restrictions are lifted.

While we're on the subject of lockdown, we've been working hard to ensure that this doesn't disrupt our Part-time Courses. We've had to refine our offering slightly, in terms of delivery and start dates*. However, you can still expect to experience the same career-boosting opportunities that many others have benefitted from in the past.

We know there's still an incredible appetite to gain new skills and that each pathway will still be very popular with our goal-driven community. Due to this, we'd advise you to secure your place as soon as possible to ensure that nothing stands in your way of gaining one of these exciting qualifications.

In addition, we are happy to offer more remote learning opportunities. This includes our Flexible Learning pathways, where courses can largely be carried out on a timeframe that best suits you and can be juggled with the responsibilities such as work and family.

There are also Short Online Courses, which give you access to just the right amount of information to improve your understanding of a subject and possibly turn the head of an employer.

Finally, if you're aspiring towards Access and Higher Education then this is a brilliant opportunity to learn all about life at our University Centre. Just remember that the UCAS deadline is at 6pm on Friday 29th January, so now is a great time to start your application!

*start dates may be subject to further change depending on changes in government guidance. Any changes will be be communicated by the course tutors as soon as possible.
