Working as part of the University of Arts London (UAL) qualification, you will have the opportunity to develop your performance skills in a vocational context, where you will practically apply your skills in rehearsal and at external events that directly relate to the industry.
You will create professional portfolios during your studies which will be essential for future progression in either higher education or an industry placement.
The Level 2 course has a strong focus on the practical application of acquired skills and the course is assessed through a combination of internal and external tasks.
Level 3 is a predominantly practical course with an emphasis on the application of discipline skills through rehearsal, performance and reflection.

This course is taught at our Middleton campus, with our part time course taught at our Rochdale campus.

You will study and perform at Hopwood Theatre, our state of the art theatre at Hopwood Hall College’s Middleton Campus. Previous productions include Creepy Cabaret, Thumbelina, Freakshow and Sleeping Beauty.
Studying Performing Arts helped me gain confidence and grow in character. My course led me to many great opportunities and I now work with some amazing people within the performing industry. The tutors were really supportive too.
